Rebates and Incentives for Multi-Family Properties (5+ Units)
Start by getting your free on-site energy assessment that identifies efficiency improvements or replacement opportunities that can save you money. This site visit is conducted by a qualified Energy Specialist.
Our experts use a “whole facility” approach. That means you get a no-cost and comprehensive assessment that focuses on insulation, air leakage, lighting, heating equipment, and cooling systems. We will also assess in-unit savings potential for you and your tenants.
Here’s What You Get With Your No-Cost Assessment
Based on your assessment, you may be eligible for Mass Save incentives on energy efficiency improvements including:
- Energy-efficient lighting upgrades and controls
- Occupancy sensors
- Water heating equipment
- Low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, and pipe wrap
- Programmable thermostats
- Air sealing of drafty areas
- High-efficiency heating and cooling equipment and controls
- ENERGY STAR® certified refrigerators and other eligible appliances

Are you a landlord of properties with 1-to-4-dwelling units? You may be eligible to participate through the Mass Save Home Energy Services Program.
Landlords and/or Property Managers that own or operate Multi-Family properties with 5 or more dwelling units may be eligible to receive services through the Income Eligible Multi-Family Retrofit Program if 50 percent or more of the tenants are at the designated income levels.
